I do not have the exact birthdates for Atanas and Wasil. I do know that Atanas was born in 1896 and died in 1962. Wasil was born approximately 1888. I believe they were both born near or in Karlova, Bulgaria. Do not know parents names. On the Ellis Island immigration records of 1914 their name is spelled Gardeff, but relative says he believes that when in Bulgaria the name was spelled Gardev or Gerdev. Will greatly appreciate any information you might have on the family.
