I am still trying to find the correct spelling of David Snell's wife, from Woolwich, Lincoln Co., ME. I've seen all three spellings & haven't yet figured it out. Also, one thing I have noticed is, that I have a Mr. & Mrs. Wardwell, both born in Tiverton, Newport, RI, 1584 & 1598 respectively. Then in the next generation, I have a Mary Wardwell b. 12/04/1621 Tiverton, Newport, RI m. 1639 to a William Woodell (Wadell or Wordell). In the next generation I have a Mary Wordell(Wadell or Wodell) m. to Daniel Grinnell 5/14/1667, both d. in Little Compton, Newport, RI. He 1703 & she 1673. His son, Daniel Grinnell, b. 1658, Seaconnet, RI, m. Lydia Pabodie 1682/1683, Saybrook, CT (she being the granddaughter of John Alden & Priscilla (Mullins) Alden. They were the parents of Priscilla Grinnell, the great granddaughter of John & Priscilla Alden who married into my Redfield family, Theophilus Redfield,1st, the third generation of Redfield's in America from England. The Wardwell name seems to have a connection with the Buker family name. If anyone can help me out with the Buker/Bowker/Bowcker/Snell connection, I would be most grateful. Thanks!
