Angus Buie b. 1775 moore Co. NC d. 1829 Catahoula Parish, La. married Mahialia Jones.
Angus died at age 54 so I'm sure his wife remarried. There were 8 children from this marriage and one named David Buie was my great-great grandfather. My Dad told me that they came from Pellahatchie, MS. but I haven't gotten past Ft.Necessity, La. and I want to know about the Ms. life. I have a book but my daughter has it. They first spelled their name Buidhe in Scotland but dropped the dh for pronunciation. They were from the Isle of Jura which is a wealthy retreat of homes today
