Samuel Duncan Bartlett and Nancy Martha Buie were my ggggrandparents. Nancy Buie was born in Marianna, FL, in 1807. Samuel and Nancy were married in Hancock County, GA, on Sept. 1, 1825. Nancy was of the Cherokee Nation (Eastern Cherokees application for funds by A.B. Bartlett, Certificate #37075) I know them to have had 3 children: Martha Bartlett(my gggrandmother), Travis Bartlett, and Archibald(A.B.)Bartlett.
