Searching for information on the Buie family that traveled south from North Carolina stopping in Georgia for a few years and finally settling in Gadsen Co, FL. In the 1820 Georgia Census Index Archibald, John, and Malcolm Buie show up in Tattnall County. By 1830 the following Buies are in territorial West Florida:
JACKSON COUNTY:
Hector Buie
...1 male 20-30, 3 females under 5, 1 female 20-30
living next door is the Samuel BARTLETT Family. Samuel's wife was Nancy Martha Bowie/Buie(b. abt 1807, NC)...who was her father?
GADSEN COUNTY:
Daniel Buie
...2 males 5-10, 1 male 20-30, 1 female 20-30
John Buie Sr
...1 male 15-20, 1 male 20-30, 1 male 50-60, 3 females 10-15, 2 females 15-20, 1 female 50-60
Arch Buie Jr

Samuel and Nancy Martha Bartlett named a son Archer Bowie Bartlett...could this mean that her father was Arch Buie Sr?? Any leads or help would be greatly appreciated.
