The Following information was taken from "THE COLONIAL RECORDS OF NORTH CAROLINA". Vol 7

Names of Persons and Families Natives of North Britian from the Isle of Jura in Argyle Shire, Landed at Brunswick the Fourth of November 1767, allowed by his Excellency the undermentioned quantity of Vacant Land, opposite to their respective Names, clear of all Fees in the Secretary's Office, to be taken up in Cumberland or Mecklenburgh Counties at their Option.

Archibald Buea, his wife, 1 male child...300 Acres
Neill Buea...100 Acres
Malcolm Buea...100 Acres
Duncan Buea...100 Acres
Mary Buea...100 Acres

Other surnames included in the list were McDougald, McLean, Campbell, Clark, Sinclair, and Darach
