Genealogy is not an exact science. You are dependant on finding records that contain information about long dead family members and sometimes those records have become lost or destroyed. So sometimes trying to find ancestors of any family can be difficult including those of the Buford family. That said, the Buford book that was originally published in 1902 by Marcus Buford was an excellent effort to place as many of the Buford family members together in one publication. But, not all descendants are included in that work even to the point in time it was published. No one should feel slighted if another states that the Bufords are a hard to find family. Some time they are in fact, very difficult to find.
