Susanna Buffelow married Richard Barmer on 10 Mar 1836 in Northampton County, NC. (Source of data: Northampton County, NC marriage bonds.) They had 5 children: Louisa E., William, James, Rebecca & Henry. Susanna was born ca. 1814 in Northampton County, NC and passed away ca. 1852. It states she apparently died around 1851 or 1852 as Richard married a Martha Vaughn on 17 Nov 1852. There is no information on Susanna & Richard's children.
Susanna's parents were William Buffelow & Winifred Snipes. They had 10 children of which Susanna was the 6th child. William Buffelow's father is the earliest known member of Buffelow's found to date when he purchased land in Northampton County, NC on 11 Jan 1743. His name was spelled Buffelow except on his will which was spelled Buffalow.
