Yes, these are the same Buddens, if you could let me see the line you have traced back to the 1700s I would be very grateful. I am carrying out family research only as a hobby for myself and the family. I have been concentrating more on my father's side of the family up to now, the Rolfes, and haven't traced the Buddens any further back than to William Budden and Sarah Dawkins.

Margaret Jeans is my great-aunt, do you know her well? She only moved from New Milton to Ringwood very recently. I took her for a drive out to St Giles back in the summer. She took me to the house where she was born, showed me the field where the house they moved into next used to be, and showed me the last house they lived in there at Monkton. We also had a look round the church.

My married name is Susan Wren. I was born in 1957 to Dennis and Maureen Smith, my mother was born in 1934 to Ronald and Bessie Woodward. Bessie was Bessie Matcham, Margaret Jean's elder sister. If you would like any more information on this part of the family that you do not already have I would be pleased to let you have it.

Lovely to hear from you.

Sue
