Since I made my posting about William Henry Budd, I have found him on the 1891 census in Bermondsey, London running a coffee house. He still gives hs place of birth as Southampton and his age still points at 1853. He also has a sister Alice living with him aged 29 (born c1861), her place of birth is given as Dover, Kent.
