When I see John Budd referred to as Lt. I think only of our immigrant. It was a title he may have earned at the time in Rye when he had so much to do politically. There was a John #6 that married Mary Youngs. I think Mildred would agree with me that the name Budd was, in England, Budde or Bude other than that it has been Budd but I will ask her. Will we ever get it straight. Jean
