Jesse Squire Budd is my gggrandfather. His third wife was Frances Jemima Barney and they had three sons, the second, George Grant Budd was my ggrandfather. I have researched the Budds for years and in the last year have dug up lots of stuff. ; )
Jesse's parents were James Budd and Eunice Squire. They moved to Orleans Cnty, NY in 1826 from Renssalaer Cnty. James and his brother Joseph Budd moved to Orleans at the same time and Joseph's wife was Eunice's sister, Rebecca.
James and Joseph Budd were the children of Gilbert Budd and Frances ___.. (haven't found her last name yet) I don't know the names of their other children.
Eunice Squire was the daughter of Jesse Squire and Amy Cole.
