Hi,
Sorry have come to a stop here, and as a new comer to researching my family history I was hoping someone out there could help.
I am currently looking for the names of parents and grandparents of a Hellen (possibly Ellen) Budd who married a John Tompkins around the Claydons, Buckinghamshire area. I dont beleive she came from the Bucks area though.
She was born in 1861 and died 29 Sep 1942)
(Have found what we belive is her gravestone)
They had a son born 6 Jan 1882 William Tompkins who went on to marry Alice Cheshire in 1907 in Grandborough.
I hope that I have given enough information, as you can see this is all very new to me so if anyone has any usefull tips or hints on good research sources / websites I would also be greatful for those.
