As far as the Budd lineage goes, I escaped the fraud, I hope. I took most of my line from original letters that were passed down through our families and are now in my possession. The oldest letter that I have was written June 9, 1841 by Jemima Budd who married Solomon Sharp. The letter is written to her daughter, Ann, who married Rev. William Maginniss.
From there, I'm not sure if I'm caught up in the fraud or not. I show that Jemima Budd is the daughter of Isaac Budd and Ruth Wooston. Does anyone know if this is correct?
