I need some information and have very little to go on. This is a real Mystery. My Gr. Grandmother, Dora Jones fell in love with a "Page" who came thru Fayette County, Ill. She got pregnant & he left. My Grandfather had a very bad life with a stepfather, but he was a very kind, gentle, frail, blue eyed man. He was kicked in the leg when he was a small boy, it never healed & had to be removed. I only have the last name of his real father. If anyone knows of A Page that came throught Fayette Co, probably in Jan. of 1888. Grandpa was born Oct. 5. 1888 I would like to know grandpa's real father if possible. Any suggestions?
