If you're looking into Westchester land records, you may be more familiar than I with the Mamaroneck/Rye Budds. Do you know about Anne Budd 1675-1768 m. Godfrey Haines 1675-1768? Godfrey supposedly created the "ropewalk" at Mamaroneck; other notes say it was at "Budd's Neck" (perhaps the very piece of land you mention!). I'd like to find Anne's parents and siblings, if known. She's my 6th ggrandmother. Do you know what the Ropewalk was?
