My husband's family name is Budd. His "Budd" family history dates back to a Lt. John Budd born 1595 in Ireland, fled to England, then settled in NY state & married Cathern Brown. There are many Budd cousins still in NY state.

We stayed at the motel on Budd Lake one weekend, then gambled at the Casino.
