Edward had but one wife and she is buried in the Valentine cemetery located in back of the Maryland Hotel on Rt 220 North in Cumberland. "Sarah wife of Edward Bucy; died July 7, 1843, aged 63 years, 5 mos., 26 dys" (per the "Allegany Co, Maryland Rural Cemeteries" by the Allegany Co. Genealogical Society, page 166.
