In the book "Allegany County, Maryland Rural Cemeteries" by the Genealogical Society of Allegany County (copyright 1990), there are 4 Bucy cemeteries listed: the one on Town Creek Road which has been tended by several Bucy descendants in Cumberland; the one the one on the Amos Alexander farm near the top of Polish Mt. near Town Creek; the one in Rocky Gap State Park; and a small one near Irons Mtn. These all have Bucys in them, as do a couple of other cemeteries. In many cases, the person who located the cemetery for the book identified it as a Bucy cemetery for the fact that there were Bucys buried in it, not because it had that name before.
