Hi!

My father's maternal side Bucy's trace back to Paul Bucy, his son Paul, father of Edward (d.1778 Frederick, MD. His son Paul had another Edward whose surname appears in our records as Bucey (d. 1860 in Allegany, MD).He married Sarah and their son Thomas was born in 1795 in MD. He was one of the early homesteaders in Holmes Co., OH where we live today.

I am of generation 11 descended from this first Paul.

I have 13 generations of this branch of the Bucy's.

BTW, Dr. Paul C. Bucy, one of our cousins, was a prominent and talented neurosurgeon, a whirlwind of a man, and I owe my life to his skillful treatment of my spinal tumor at the age of 4, over 50 years ago.

Barb
