John Buckmaster b. 1780 in Cecil County, Maryland m. 1805 in Mercer County, Pennsulvania b. May 11, 1871 in Unionville, Appanoose County, Iowa. He married Rachel Barnes b. December 14, 1785 in Moon, Alleghany, Pennsulvania d. 1838 in Clark, Coshocten County, Ohio. John was the son of Joshua Wilaon Buckmaster b. 1750 in Little Creek Hundred, Kent County, Delware m. ?1776 in Maryland d. ?1786 in Mercer County, Pennsulvania. Joshua married Mary Richardson b.?1750 in Cecil County, Maryland to Joseph Richardson. She died May 4, 1823 in Salt Creek, Wayne County, Ohio. Rahcel Barnes was the daughter of Peter Barnes and Anna (Jewes) Rothchild. I don't know have documentation for the parents of Rachel Barnes so Sophia Inman is just as likely for me at the moment. My wife is decended from John and Rachels son Robert b. March 5, 1825 in Salt Creek, Wayne County, Ohio m. March 8, 1857 in Appanoose County, Iowa d. in Prairie, Arkansas. I have the Buckmaster traced to London 1533. At that time it is Thomas Buckminister and Alice Reede. There son moved married in Sempringham, Lincolnshire, England and died in Muddy River, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Glad to share any more information. Who are you decended from?
