My name is Steve Urwin and I have been researching my family tree for nearly 19 yeaas and most of it was from my birthplace in Mansfield, Ohio. I have been to the graveyards in Ashland and Knox Cos. It seems
that these 2 family trees are very entwined with one another, almost lines vines.
Here is what I have for sure in reference to yours, mine and ours:
Jeremiah Buckmaster and his wife Elizabeth Lent had 12 children. Jeremiah died in Hanover Twp., Ashland Co., Ohio in 1881. His wife died there in 1882. They are both buried in Sandridge Cemetery in Ashland
Co. They were married in 1820 in Wayne Co., Ohio and had the following children:
David md Rachel Yolton
James md Margaret Mapes
Elizabeth md Jacob Wise
Mary md Philip Derrow
Rebecca md Jacob Thoma
Celestia md A. Derrow
Ellen md Conrad (Gooner) Doup {{They had a daughter that was adopted
by Mary and Philip}}
Margaret md Frank Mastellar
Peter md ?? but he died aft 12-1886
Isabella md ?? and she too died aft 12-1886
Daniel md ?? he died before that date and is buried in Sandridge Cemetery
Delilah md ?? she is also buried there
I have extensive info on the Buckmaster's as well as the Lent and related lines.
Elizabeth Lent's brother Peter also married a Buckmaster (Elizabeth, she may have been Jeremiah's sister).
