We have a Donald Buckman on my wife's family tree..just a name and a photograph. His brother was Bernard of London but died in Leeds, England. Two sisters...Phylis(Fanny)of Leeds and Florence (Flo)who emigrated to Australia.
These Buckmans were Jewish..but Bernard was buried in a RC cemetary by his 2nd catholic wife.
Donald disappeared after World war II so it is possible that this is the same guy.
He was the younger brother of Bernard so may have been early twenties I guess when in the British Army.
regards
