The 1850 Muscactine County Census, Wapsanonock Twp, Pg 404B, ln 40 Through pg 405a, ln 3, lists Charles A and Susan and four of their children --

Buckman Chas A 38 Md
Buckman Susan 37 Va
Buckman Ann 6 Ohio
Buckman Martha 4 Iowa
Buckman J Milton 3 Iowa
Buckman Chas T 1 Iowa

Not to be confused with his nephew, Charles E, b 1845, m Louisa Walter, children: Walter Emmett, Eva May, and Harry Oliver, another Mascatine County family.

Phineas was also a grandfather of Charles L, but fortunatley, this is Charles L Aikins.

Thank you,

Bill Strickland
