As you know there were a number of Bucklins in and around Rehoboth in the 1700s (and some of the family which still used Buckland) - I have a lot of them, but no "Elsie". How sure are you of the name? i.e. could it have been her middle name, short for Elizabeth (sometime used instead of Liz or Beth if there was another in the family with one of thoes names) etc.
