Clara Bucklin is my ancestor. She was born Jan. 10, 1887 in Port Madison Washington, the daughter of Nathan Bucklin and Mary Babbitt. She was one of 9 children. Clara marrried Walter Harris.
They had 4 children. Her brother was my grandfather, Robert Eben Bucklin. Nathan Bucklin was born on June 6, 1839 in South Warren, Knox County, Maine. He moved to the Territory of Washington in 1859. I have the family traced back to Ebenezer Bucklin, born abt Mar. 2, 1706/07. I believe he was the son of Isaac Bucklin and Mary Marsh but have not been able to validate that. If he was, I believe the family is decended from William Buckland who married Mary Bosworth and came from England to Boston on the" Elizabeth and Dorcas" in 1634. Does anybody have information about the children of Isaac Bucklin( born Jan.31, 1671/72) and Mary Marsh ( married Jan 3, 1697/98)? I would be happy to share the rest of the information I have.
