The info I have comes from the Internet via the Family Seach site, but it says that Isaac was the son of the Rev Benjamin Bucklin, b Apr 17 1754 Scituate RI, died May 3 1838, buried in Carpenter Cem Guilford VT. He married Patience Horton about 1778 and had 11 or 12 children; I believe he was a Baptist minister.
Benjamin was the son of Squire Bucklin and Hopestill Ballou and Patience was the daughter of Hezekiah Horton and Mary Martin.
Was Rabbi Joseph Wales Bucklin a rabbi or was that really his name, as they seemed to have rather fanciful names? Do you know his birth date? Also what was John Calvin's death date? Was Sarah Smith one of the daughters of Solomon Smith and Tabitha (Briggs) Smith of Guilford VT?
I was actually interested in Benjamin's daughter Patience who married David Lynde and had 10 children. I think perhaps it was a grandson (not a son) John who married Lurinda Shepardson.
