Cynthia BUCKLIN m. John Burton in 1780s

I'm looking for any information about a Cynthia Bucklin who married John Burton, probably in the 1780s in either RI or MA.

Here's what I have:
The book "The Arnold Memorial" by Elisha Stephen Arnold, has, on pages 146-147, an entry for Barbara Arnold who married John Burton in Warwick, RI, on 13 April, 1758.
In their section the book says "Before 1790, they removed to Cheshire, Mass., where he died about 1826." They apparently lived in both Adams, MA, and Cheshire -- both in Berkshire County.
Under their children is the line: "John, b. 1765; m. Cynthia Bucklin."
That's it. No date, no place, no citation. Given the younger John's age he could easily have married in RI before the rest of the family moved or he could have married in Massachussets. This is the only entry that I've found tying Cynthia Bucklin to John Burton.

I've been trying to find more information about a Cynthia Bucklin daughter of Oliver Bucklin. In a typewritten manuscript called "Squire Bucklin of Foster, R.I." by Hattie B. Cooper, printed in 1944. I found Cynthia listed as one of Oliver Bucklin and Sarah Newman's children: "Cynthia b. Feb 5, 1769". This Cynthia would be a perfect age to marry the preceding John Burton.

"Vital Records of Rehoboth, 1642-1896" by James Newell Arnold (1844-1927) lists under Rehoboth (MA) births a "Lynthia" Bucklin born, Feb. 5, 1769. Since I've never heard the name "Lynthia" before and her birth date matches the Cynthia from the first manuscript, I'm guessing someone misread "Cynthia" or messed up in the type-setting of this book. The book did not give "Lynthia's" parents.

Does anybody have any information on a Cynthia/Lynthia Bucklin that married John Burton? Or information to show that the Cynthia, d/of Oliver, married someone else?

Thanks.
