Dick, Thanks for your reply. Elsie certainly could be short for Elizabeth, but she is listed as Elsie in the Rehoboth Vital Records of 1757 (her marriage to Peter Ballou/Belew) and is also listed as Elsie in the Blaisdell Family Assoc. records and the Adin Ballou genealogy (which may have drawn from the Rehoboth records, but does not give a source). In your Bucklin/Buckland info, do you see any Elizabeths (or maybe even Alices) that might fit? Thanks, Michael
