I don't think this is the correct Sarah Buckley as she didn't emigrate until WW2 but thank you very much for your help :-)
My Grandmother (Sarah Ellen Buckley grandaughter) is trying to remember some information about her grandmother that may help, but sadly she was only a child at the time and is 87 years old now. What she does remember is her grandmother sending her some shoes to wear which belonged to one of her children. If this memory is correct then it would indicate that Sarah Ellen Buckley remarried in America. I think she would of been too old to have any biological children of her own so I am assuming she remarried a man who already had children. I just wish I knew his name.
Does anyone know how I can find out her married name?
