Lynn, see message #1750 in this forum.
Also: there was a 1791 will for an Arnold BUCKLEY in Kent cnty, DE [M:275] and a 1763 will for a James BUCKLEY in Kent cnty, DE [L:45]
Where does a Samuel BUCKLEY fit in, if at all?

Deed. On 25 Mar 1726 Charles EMPSON of Brandywine Hundred, carpenter, to John RICHARDSON of Christiana Hundred, merchant, and Adam BUCKLEY of Brandywine Hundred, yeoman, admininstrators of the goods & chattels of Ebenezer EMPSON, late of Brandywine Hundred, gentleman, at the time of his death. Whereas Cornelius EMPSON, late of Brandywine Hundred, gentleman, dec'd, did by his will dtd 12 Dec 1702, devised to his son, Charles, the eastward part or moiety of his plantation in Brandywine Hundred containing 400 aces called "Chestnut Hill" & a negro boy called "Robin". Now Charles EMPSON for £10 granted to John RICHARDSON & Adam BUCKLEY, on behalf of the heirs of Ebenezer EMPSON the said moiety of "Chestnut Hill". Signed: Charels EMPSON. Delivered in the presence of William READ & Jane READ. [H1:207]
Is Adam BUCKLEY the great grandson of Ebenezer EMPSON thru his father, John BUCKLEY, thru John's mother, Mary EMPSON, by any chance? Or would Charles EMPSON be the father of Mary EMPSON?
