MOUNT PULASKI - Henry Franklin "Hank" Buckles, 80, of Mount Pulaski died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
He was born Aug. 30, 1926, in Mount Pulaski, the son of Leroy Keith and Helen Frances Copeland Buckles Sr. He married Irma Jean Baker in 1950 in Chestnut.
Mr. Buckles was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church and Sons of the American Legion Post 447 and a past president of the Steenbergen Cemetery Board.
Survivors: wife, Irma; four sons, John, Franklin (wife, Brenda) and Andrew Buckles, all of Mount Pulaski, and James Buckles of Springfield; daughter, Mary Jane (husband, Floyd Jr.) Yeck of Springfield; and seven grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Mount Pulaski Christian Church, the Rev. J.T. Thomason officiating. Interment: Steenbergen Ce-metery.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is in charge of arrangements.
