I am looking for any information about the following Buckle family that lived in the Thirsk and the adjoining suburb of Sowerby in Yorkshire.
To date I have the following information:-
Edward Buckle christened 2 Jul 1751 died 17 Feb 1826 Sowerby Thirsk
married Frances Bentley 14th June 1787 Sowerby thirsk
They had 9 children all born in Sowerby by Thirsk as follows
Jane buckle - christening 9th Oct 1788
Fanny Buckle - 7 Jun 1791
Edward Buckle - 21 Jan 1793
Thomas Buckle - 17 Jan 1795
Anne buckle - 2 Jun 1797
John Edward buckle - 8 Apr 1800
Robert Bentley Buckle - 6 Jan 1802
Elizabeth Buckle - 6 Nov 1804
Jane Buckle - 28 Jan 1810
I also believe the above mentioned Edward Buckle father was another Edward Buckle who married Ann Nodding. This Edward was born 3 May 1712, Kirby Wiske and who died 13 Jan 1780 in Sowerby by Thirsk.
I also believe his father was William Buckle born 22 Oct 1681 Farnham, Yorkshire and his grand father being Stephen Buckle but I have no dates for him.
