Probable line of descent as follows:
1 - John Buckland b. abt 1583 married Katherine Kerslade b. abt 1587. They were married 30 Jun 1605 Branscombe, Devon, England.
2 - William Buckland christened 23 Nov 1606 at Branscombe, Devon, England. Died 1 Sep 1679/1683 Rehoboth, Bristol, MA. His wife was Mary Bosworth b. 1611/1617 Market Bosworth, Leicester, England. Died 29 Jul 1687 Rehoboth, Bristol, MA. They were married 1632 England. William Buckland was their 5th child.
3 - William Buckland born abt 1644 Weymouth, Dorset, England. Died 13 May 1691 Windsor, Hartford, CT. Wife was Elizabeth Williams b. abt 1648 in East Hartford, Hartford, CT. Died before 11 May 1712. They were married before Dec 1666.
