Buckland Family Genealogy Forum

Greetings to all Bucklands who seek information via this forum. I am James Dana Buckland, descended from John Buckland, who arrived in St Mary's City, Colony of Maryland abt. 1758. I am seeking two things: One I would be very interested in purchasing copies of any old photographs of this Buckland line, and two, does anyone have any information that ties this Buckland line to William Buckland, the Colonial Architecht?
William arrived in the colonies 1755 as an indentured servant for a period of four yeras to George Mason, Lawyer, architect of the Declaration of Freedom for the Colony of Virginia and builder of Gunston Hall, for which Buckland was retained for his joiner/carver skills. Buckland went on to become one of the premier colonial architechts. I have heard only anecdotal evidence that these two lines hail from the same area of London and are related. Can anyone help me? Thank you. jbuckland@baybroadband.net
