I am trying to find out more information about John Clement Buckland, born 7 Dec 1894. He married Emily May Powell in Nov 1919 at Christ Church Broadway in the parish of St Margaret Westminster in the county of Middlesex. However his father's name on the wedding certificate is Edward Jones, schoolmaster. I have no inkling of the story behind the two different names but I would like to know. Emily May Powell was a 24 year old spinster from Uxbridge, her father's name was Stephen William Powell, a farmer.
