Buckinghams in the UK today.

My Buckingham ancestors emigrated from Cornwall (primarily from Gwennap/Redruth, Falmouth, Kea and Kenwyn areas, I am happy to contact anyone of-forum with more information if required) to Melbourne, Australia in the 1850-1870's.

I'm planning a genealogical holiday to the UK for some time in 2010, and although I have enough information to make the trip interesting (villages, mines and towns to visit, partial addresses to investigate etc.) - it would make my day if I could meet descendents of the Buckinghams who stayed in England.

Does anyone know how I can go about locating any British/Cornish living Buckinghams? Are there any special forums I should try posting on, etc.?

Any advice appreciated!!

Cheers,

Felicity Buckingham
