I am researching the Buckelew line as my husbands family is tied up with them. Don't have much but the Bybee name rang a bell. In the line of particularly including your Bybee search it goes this way:
Children of Sarah A. MCADAMS, born 27 FEB 1832 in Alabama, and died 1880 in Uvalde, TX. & James Madison BUCKELEW born 28 JAN 1828 in Pike County, Alabama and died 1865 in Mesquite Prairie, TX:
i. William C. BUCKELEW was born 6 DEC 1849 in Union Parish, Louisiana/ Union, Saint James County, LA
ii.Thomas Jefferson BUCKELEW was born 1 AUG 1851 in Alabama, died 8 OCT 1931 in Bexar CO. He married Margaret Ann Eaton 1877, daughter of John EATON and UNKNOWN. she was born JUNE 1851 in Arkansas and died 18 DEC 1941.
iii. James Alexander BUCKELEW, born 8 SEP 1853 in Alabama. Married Amanda Catherine SMART, 1877, daughter of John D. SMART and Elizabeth WATSON. sHE WAS BORN may 1859 in Williamson CO, TX
