Buckaloo/Buckelew in Mexican War 1846-48

I'm not a researcher of these surnames, but thought this may help someone. The Index to Mexican War Pension Files lists the following men as serving in the War and filing for pensions:

BUCKALOO, James M., filed for pension from Tennessee; widow Amanda F., filed for Widow's pension 17 Feb 1898 in Tennessee, for his service in Co. B, 3d Tennessee Volunteers.

BUCKALOO, William A., and widow Mary Ann, filed for widow's pension 28 June 1887 in Texas, for his service in Co. B, 3d Tennessee Volunteers.

BUCKELEW, George D.; widow Mary, filed for widow's pension 22 Aug 1887 in Alabama, for his service in Kelly's Independent Co., Florida Infantry.

I hope this helps someone.
