Does anyone have any solid evidence for who the children of Jonathan Taylor Buck (1786-1868) were. In particular, I need documented evidence that he begat Henderson Buck in 1818. Jonathan Taylor Buck was born in Pennsylvania. Many publicly available family trees state that Jonathan Buck's son was Henderson Buck (though I don't see where they provide the evidence). The 1880 US Census states that the parents of Henderson Buck were born in North Carolina (Unfortunately the only census in the lifetime of Henderson Buck to provide place of birth for one's parents - so I can't compare it with another). I am willing to allow for a mistake in the 1880 census as to the place of birth of Henderson Buck's parents IF someone can give me some documented evidence. If anyone has heard that Henderson Buck may have a different father, I'm all ears (eyes) as well. Thank you.
