A biography of F.W. Buck is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 853 & 854 Mr. Buck came to Montana by way of Flathead Lake, Demersville, and settled near Columbia Falls. His primary occupation was farming. When he left the farm he owned and conducted a general merchandise store at Creston, MT, where for seven years he was also postmaster. He moved to Kalispell and established Buck's Grocery Store. All three sons, Harry, Earl, and Fred, assisted in the store. Mr. Buck's wife died and left four children: Thelma (California), Harry, Earl, and Fred. Frank W. Buck died at age 63, 26 Feb 1924, Kalispell, MT I am not related.
