After posting my message to Carrie Pence, it never occurred to me that there would be responses to it. I just found your message. I would be thrilled to share information with you.

In Aug 1763, a group of German settlers recanted their allegiance to MD and swore it to PA. As a result, one Nicholas Butcherie (Bucher) had a bounty put on his head. Have you found this juicy tidbit? If not, I can fill you in on the details.
