I am also a descendant of George Dieter Bucher (1742-1802), son of Johann Dietrich Bucher (1709-1769) who arrived at Philadelphia, PA on September 30, 1732.
Family lived in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, PA.

I was taken by surprise as my records only show George Bucher (1767-1845), son of George Dieter above, as having two children: Dieter Bucher (1793-1854) and Lydia Bucher (1804-1890). I descend from Dieter while Dieter's sister Lydia was mother to Gen. John F. Hartranft, governor of Pennyslvania.
Thomas Bucher is new to me. Are you sure of his parentage?
