My ancestor Jean Adam Bucher arrived late 1820's or early 1830's from Montbronn, Lorraine, France. Passage probably would have been thru le Havre; my other Lorraine ancestors traveled this way. He settled in Manlius (near Syracuse), NY. One brother Joseph came about 1860; another brother Nicholas some time before 1850. What info do you have, could this be a match? thanks -mike
