Hello,
My Buchers also at one point lived in St. Joseph Co. MI, and ended up in Elkhart Co. and surrounding areas. I have come across Sylvesters name a number of times, but have not yet been able to connect him to my Buchers although I think there is a good chance that there is a connection. I thought I read his obituary, and that he died of complications due to a scalding accident.
