On the 25th and 26th July 2009 Edinburgh will witness one of the largest clan gatherings in history. The Gathering 2009 is one of the signature events of Homecoming Scotland (250th aniversary of Robbie Burns). The website for The Gathering is http://www.clangathering.org/.
The clan list attending so far does not include Buchanan representation.
I wanted to check to see if there were any clans folk considering going to this event.
We are hoping to go, and have started planning for this and the Edinburgh Tattoo.
What would it be like to show the world how proud the Buchanan clans folk are marching together down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh?
Any thoughts?
