Page 59 Oct term 1796: Account of amount and settement of estate of John and Samuel Buchanan, deceased as delivered by Samuel Benton and Robert Edmondson appointed to settle estate. Sept 13, 1796.
page 40 Oct Term 1793: Inventory of estate of Samuel Buchanan deceased: Delivered by David Buchanan, administrator Rebecca Buchanan.
Does anyone known who the Samuel Buchanan and John Buchanan above are? Is the Samuel on page 40 the same as the one on page 59?
Major John Buchanan had a brother named Samuel but he was killed aroung 1783 or 1784 by Indians so he seems to be too early for these Samuels. Also the names of the administrators etc. don't fit with close friends or relatives of this Samuel and his brother Major John of Buchanan Station.
