Looking for information on James, father of John Ruffin Buchanan (1830-1915). I am stuck at John Ruffin but found a refernce in John Adams Buchanan's (his grandson) bio in the book: North Carolina, the Old North State and the new to a great grandfather, James Buchanan, which would make him John Ruffin's father. If you have any info on this line, please let me know.
