William Buchanan b 1765, cousin of Joseph, married Joseph's wife Sally's sister, Elizabeth Jones. They also had a daughter, Elizabeth, b 1797 but I have her marrying a Marvin Baker. Both William and Josephs families moved to present Mitchell county around 1806-7. I descended from the William line, and my DNA matched a descendant of Joseph by 36 out of 37 markers. My closest matches however were to some Irish descendants, one living in Canada, and the other in New Zeeland.
