Simpson Buchanan was the son of Samuel and Sarah Simpson, b. 1824 in Tenn. He married Sarah Ann Commons 15 Apr 1845 Lincoln Co.,Tn. I believe she is the dau. of Joseph and ELizabeth Commons both born in NC. 1850 census has Simpson, wife Sarah, sons Thomas 5 and Francis 3. I'm trying to find this 5yr old Thomas in the 1860 census. This family comes to Gonzales Co,Texas to settle. Thomas marries(I believe)before 1870 and dies before 1870. He marries Mary Ann Unknown, believe in Texas? If anyone has run across Thomas please let me know. Thanks for any help. Barbara
